Astrova ("we", "our", "the app") is a focus and digital wellbeing application. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle your information.

Data Collection

Astrova does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. All app data is stored locally on your device and never leaves it.

Specifically, we do not collect:

• Personal information (name, email, phone number)
• Usage analytics or behavioral data
• Device identifiers or advertising IDs
• Location data
• Screen time or app usage data beyond what is needed for the app's core functionality

Screen Time & App Blocking

Astrova uses Apple's Screen Time APIs (FamilyControls, ManagedSettings, DeviceActivity frameworks) to block distracting apps during focus sessions that you initiate.

• You choose which apps to block using Apple's system-provided app picker
• App selections are stored locally on your device only
• App restrictions are only active during focus sessions you start and are immediately removed when the session ends or is canceled
• We use .individual authorization — this is for your personal use only, not parental monitoring
• No app usage data is shared, transmitted, logged on servers, or accessible to us in any way

Local Data Storage

Astrova stores the following data locally on your device using SQLite:

• Focus session history (start time, duration, completion status)
• Discovered planet collection
• Equipment inventory and lumen balance
• Your app blocking preferences
• App settings

This data is never transmitted off your device. You can delete all data at any time through the app's Settings screen, or by uninstalling the app.

No Accounts

Astrova does not require or support user accounts. There is no sign-up, no login, and no cloud sync.

No Third-Party Services

Astrova does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or tracking services.

Children's Privacy

Astrova is designed for adults (ages 25+). We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date.
